A garnet and seed pearl demi-parure. The necklace designed as an oval and pear-shape garnet cluster with seed pearl accents, suspended from a snake-link chain, together with matching ear pendants. Length of pendant 6.4cms. Length of chain 40cms. Length of ear pendants 5cms. Total weight 39gms. With fitted case.
<li>This demi-parure once belonged to Alice Keppel, King Edward VII's favourite mistress and a relative of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Born Alice Frederica Edmonstone, Alice was the youngest daughter of Sir William Edmonstone of Duntreath.<p>

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Garnets well matched with medium body colour, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Minor blisters to seed pearls but they are well matched.
<li>Earrings with hook back fittings for pierced ears.
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
