Lot Description

A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl and diamond memorial ring. The split pearl quatrefoil, with rose-cut diamond accents, to the scroll embossed trifurcated shoulders. Woven hair panel to reverse. Ring size I. Weight 3.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.


<li>Split pearls fairly well matched. Minor surface scratches and wear to nacre. Two pearls have a very fine line, which appear under the surface of the nacre.


<li>Grooved detail to sides of settings have worn away in located areas.


<li>Diamond fairly well matched.


<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>


<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>


<li>Hair panel intact. Minor green staining visible. Chips and scratches to glazed back panel.
