A mid 19th century gold split pearl memorial locket. Of padlock design, the woven hair panel, with seed pearl surround and surmount. Length 2cms. Weight 1.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Woven hair is still intact. Residue it present within the panel.
<li>Seed pearls vari in colours. Some appear a grey, others a cream. Some are possibly replacements.
