Lot Description
A late 19th century silver and gold diamond, ruby, sapphire and split pearl butterfly brooch. The split pearl and ruby body, to the rose-cut diamond wings, with ruby and sapphire accents. Length 3.2cms. Weight 8.3gms. With associated case.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.10ct.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Sapphires medium hue. Rubies red to pink, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
