An early 19th century diamond brooch mount. The oval-shape void central panel, within a rose-cut diamond surround, to the old-cut diamond border. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 1.85cts. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.25ct, J-K colour, VS clarity. Length 2.9cms. Weight 6.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The central panel has visible glue residue.
<li>Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
<li>The diamonds are drawing a slight yellow hue, with small inclusions, some with nibbles and minor chips.
