An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and split pearl necklace. The cushion-shape sapphire and split pearl bow, to the similarly-set bow garland and floral sides, with split pearl chain and rope-twist back-chain. Length 40.5cms. Weight 21.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Split pearls well matched. Two imitation pearl replacement.
<li>Several replacement split pearls, some are not perfectly well matched in colour.
<li>Areas of discolouration.<p>
<li>Sapphires well matched with medium hue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li>Principal bow stamped to reverse 18ct. Makers mark reads Dill, with heart stamp to right.
