A garnet buckle pendant. The foliate engraved curving belt and buckle motif, with oval and circular-shape garnet highlights, suspended from a trace-link chain. Length of pendant 3cms. Length of chain 42cms. Weight 6.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Buckle was part of a larger items of jewellery and has been later adapted into a pendant.
<li>Garnets well matched with medium purplish red, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
