A cameo brooch. The oval conch shell cameo carved to depict the side profile of a lady with a claw-set diamond to her necklace. Mark to indicate gold. Length 4.2cms. Weight 13.5gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is good, with surface scratches to the shell and metal in keeping with age and wear. There are dints to the very edge of the mount, possible consistent with the setting of the cameo. Stamped 9ct to the reverse of the mount. Diamond is bright for size.
