An early 19th century gold mourning brooch. The rectangular-shape arranged hair panel gathered by a split pearl scroll, within a floral embossed surround. Personal engraving to reverse reads 'In memory of Charles Oakly who died at Havannah 10 July 1819 aged 14'. Length 2.3cms. Weight 8.2gms.

<li>Some areas of dirt and deterioration to the arranged hair panel.
