A mid Victorian 18ct gold banded agate and enamel ring. The shield-shape banded agate, to the black enamel scrolling foliate sides and plain half-band. Inside engraved 'Mary Radclyffe Ob't 22nd Sept'r 1845' with glazed hair panel. Hallmarks for London, 1845. Ring size N. Weight 3.1gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Enamel with minor surface scratches, general abrasion.
<li>Banded agate with few slightly deeper scratches, few very minor nicks.
<li>Glazed panel with woven hair motif.
<li>Date letter assay also struck to outside of band.
