A mid 19th century gem-set mourning brooch. Of circular outline, the woven hair glazed panel, within a foil-back orange gem surround. Diameter 2cms. Weight 4.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Engraved monogram to reverse 'CW'.
<li>Gems size and setting prevents accurate assessment.
<li>The gems are foil back and appear a medium slightly brownish orange to deep browny orange.<p>
