Lot Description

An early 20th century locket. The split pearl star and accents, inset to the oval-shape panel, with foliate and bead embossed sides, to the similarly-designed reverse, suspended from a gold rope-twist chain. Length of locket 6.2cms. Length of chain 150cms. Weight 57.7gms.

<li>A noticeable dent to the reverse panel.

<li>Locket opens to reveal two glazed panels, one with a baby portrait, the other with a locket of hair.<p>

<li>Split pearls with nacre damage and chalky lustre.<p>

<li>Stones in fair condition.<p>
