Lot Description
A pair of early twentieth century silver sauce boats, each of oval bellied form with gadrooned rim, foliate capped flying scroll handle and raised on an oval pedestal foot with conforming gadroon border. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1911. Maximum height measures 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm), weight 12.31 ozt (382.8 grams).

Condition Report
Both sauce boats appear in good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few minor surface dints and there is a slight impression visible from the stem to the interior of one of the sauceboats. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's marks a little rubbed.
