Lot Description
A 1920's silver three piece tea set comprising teapot, twin-handled sugar basin and cream jug, each of fluted oblong form and raised on four bun feet, stained wood handle and finial to teapot. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd., Chester 1929. Teapot length measures 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm), weight 26.44 ozt (822.4 grams).

Condition Report
The tea service appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general some wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing in keeping with the age and general use. Heavier tarnishing visible to the teapot. A few minor dints and some heavier scratches. The hallmarks are mostly clear and legible, maker's marks are partly worn but still just legible.
