A 1950's silver pepper mill, of tapering cylindrical form having Celtic style banded decoration, hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1950, height measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a 1970's silver christening mug having applied formalised leaf border below the slightly flared rim, J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1973, 2 6/8 inches (7 cm), and a 1980's small silver swing handle pail or basket, J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1980, height excluding handle 2 4/8 inches (6.5 cm). Gross weight excluding peppermill 8.51 ozt (264.6 grams). (3).

Condition Report
Each appears in good condition commensurate with age and use. Peppermill with signs of use with dirt and residue to interior, areas of tarnishing and surface scratching to exterior. Christening mug with light tarnishing to the whole and wear to handle. Basket in good condition with minor wear to handle. Hallmarks throughout clear and legible.
