Lot Description
A 1920's silver biscuit box, of wavy oval outline with hinged and domed cover having flower head motif rim, opening to reveal a vacant interior, the whole raised upon a conforming tray base and four bun feet. Hallmarked Frank Cobb & Co Ltd., Sheffield 1927. Height measures 5 2/8 inches (13.5 cm), weight 24.02 ozt (747.1 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in good to fair condition displaying general minor surface scratching and rubbing causing slight loss of definition to decorated rim. Hinge is a little loose and the cover slightly catches upon rim of box when opening and closing. Hallmarks are legible although maker's mark partly worn and with part hallmarks to hinged cover.
