Lot Description
Three silver mounted jewellery boxes, the largest of plain rectangular form with hinged cover opening to reveal a vacant lined interior, the whole raised upon four short feet, hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd., Birmingham 1916, length measures 6 inches (15.25 cm), another of oval form having foliate border and engraved crest to the hinged cover, Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1913, 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm), and a smaller circular example having reeded cover with engraved initial, 2 2/8 inches (5.75 cm). Condition Report
Overall each appears fair condition displaying signs of use. Larger with few small dents and light scratches to exterior, faint initials just visible to hinged cover. Oval example with slight distortion to body above one leg. Circular with few small knocks and dints and with severe rubbing to hallmarks and so illegible. Interior linings to each heavily worn.
