A late Victorian silver vanity box of elongated rectangular form having flower head and scroll embossing and with vacant cartouche to the hinged cover opening to reveal a vacant interior, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1900, length measures 9 inches (23 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver vanity box of baluster rectangular form having foliage embossing to the whole and vacant cartouche to the hinged cover, William Harrison Walter, Birmingham 1092, length measures 3 4/8 inches (9 cm), and a continental import silver pin tray of heart outline having landscape scene of a couple to centre, John George Piddington, London import 1905, length measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Gross weight 7.74 ozt (240.7 grams).

Condition Report
Vanity boxes each in good to fair condition commensurate with age and use each with light rubbing to exterior. Larger with few knocks beneath and cover catches slightly on rim when opening and closing. Smaller with shallow dent beneath. Pin tray with rubbing to surface causing slight loss of definition to decoration. Hallmarks throughout legible.
