An Edwardian silver mounted clothes brush having vacant domed and oval cartouche within flower head and wave scrolled embossed decoration, hallmarked Chester 1906, length measures 6 6/8 inches (17 cm). Together with an Iranian silver cigarette case of rectangular form having radiating foliate engraving to the front and reverse, marked 800 Iran beside further Iranian marks, length measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm). Weight excluding silver mounted brush 5.98 ozt (186.1 grams).

Condition Report
Clothes brush displaying minor dints and knocks to edge of silver mounts with minor surface rubbing and scratching, marker's mark is partly worn and so illegible. Cigarette case displaying wear, rubbing and tarnishing to exterior causing slight loss of definition to decoration, slight compression to form, hinge is in good working order and with few scratches to interior, marks with light rubbing but still legible.
