A Canadian silver porringer bowl, with an engraved monogram to one side and having a single scroll pierced handle, impressed sterling with maker's mark for Henry Birks & Sons (Montreal), maximum length including handle measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm). Together with a smaller American silver porringer bowl or wine taster, impressed sterling with maker's mark for Gorham Manufacturing Co., length to handle measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm). Weight 9.23 ozt (287 grams). (2).
