Lot Description

A continental chalice with circular base rising to a knopped column and a bowl shape socket, decorated with stylised foliate borders throughout. Two indistinct marks just below the rim. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), gross weight 6.77 ozt (210.5 cm).

The chalice appears in quite a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. Missing further bowl/mount. It displays some general wear, surface scratches, marks and several small dints. Also small solder repairs. Tests as 98% silver.
