Lot Description
An early twentieth century continental silver caster, the large baluster form decorated with repeated panels of stylised flowerheads within a diamond shape punch, further foliate and husk motifs throughout, the removable lid with simple drilled holes and bayonet fitting. Impressed 930 alongside two indistinct marks, also with import marks for Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck, Chester 1906. Maximum height measures 7 inches (17.8 cm), weight 9.06 ozt (281.7 grams).

Condition Report
The caster displays general wear, surface scratches and marks commensurate with the age and use. Some heavy tarnishing. Minor dints. The foot is slightly compressed so that it wobbles a little when standing. The cover is also a very tight fit, however it does bear matching part hallmarks.
