Lot Description

An Italian silver basket, having central dome with radiating openwork basket leading to the acanthus and shell cast lobed rim, hallmarked Lavorazione Italiana Argenteria Silver S.r.l., Bologna, length measures 12 inches (30.5 cm). Together with a pair of Victorian silver grape scissors having fluted and foliate stems leading to the ring terminals, hallmarked Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London, 7 4/8 inches (19 cm), various silver, silver handled and plated English and continental cutlery, plus a plated candlestick. Gross weighable silver exclusive of plated blades 17.26 ozt (536.9 grams).
