Lot Description

A whiskey barrel, of plain form having deer and foliate decoration to both ends and with functioning pouring tap to front, the whole raised upon an open cradle stand having hooks for six similar whiskey cups. Tests as low grade silver. Height inclusive of stopper measures 7 inches (18 cm), gross weight 19.33 ozt (601.2 grams).

Overall appears in good condition displaying minor signs of use and small dints to barrel. Spotter does not quite fit to top and with small areas of tarnishing. Tap untested although movement appears to be working. Cups each with knocks, dints and slight distortion, marks visible to handles although these are heavily worn and illegible. Barrel is unmarked but tests as 65% silver. Possible assay marks to cup handles.
