Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver mounted fish servers, the tapering blade having underwater engraving with fish and reeds, the fork having four interlocking tines and each with stepped ivory handle. Hallmarked John Gilbert, Birmingham 1880/1. Length of server measures 13 inches (33 cm).

Each with wide split to ivory handle beside other general dark cracks. Silver appears in good condition displaying light areas of tarnishing and scratching. Engraving to blade in good condition. Hallmarks clear and legible.
