An Edwardian combination silver vesta and sovereign case, the plain oblong form with dual hinges opening to a sovereign holder and vesta vase with strike to cover. Hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham 1909. Length including suspension bow 8.3 cm, weight 35 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hinges and clasps in good working order. Some discolouration to the interior. No personal engravings. Also engraved J W Benson to the inner rim.
