Lot Description

A 1930's silver table lighter, having twin scrolled handles and presentation engraving, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1931, length measures 5 inches (12.75 cm). Together with a continental cigarette case having engine-turned and fluted decoration opening to reveal a gilt interior, marked 925 beside maker's mark J E, length measures 4 inches (10 cm). Gross weight 7.73 ozt (240.3 grams). (2).

Table lighter displaying general light wear commensurate with age and use with some marking, tarnishing and light surface scratching. Cigarette case with heavy tarnishing and scratching to exterior, the hinge is in good working order and gilding to interior is worn. Marks to each are worn but still legible.
