Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver scent bottle mount of plain cylindrical form and containing a glass phial with a gilt metal crown surmount to the cork stopper. In original fitted case. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London, date letter very worn. Maximum length measures 10.7 cm, silver weight 11 grams.

In fairly good overall condition displaying some general wear, surface scratches and marks. Tarnishing to the silver and it was likely once gilded. It would benefit from a polish. The hallmarks appear very worn, maker's mark also rubbed but legible. Also numbered 609297.
