Lot Description

Two similar nineteenth century carved sea-bean miniature scent flasks with yellow metal mounts and safety chains to the detachable covers, height measuring 3.5 cm. Together with a carved sea-bean pin cushion modelled as a basket, height measuring 2.5 cm. Mounts test as 14ct gold. (3).

In good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Material noticeably worn to the pin cushion. One mount appear 'rose' the other 'yellow', test as 14ct gold, the applied flower however tests as 9ct.
