A George V silver card case, of rectangular form having a ribbed edge quartered by scrolled waves and with engraved initials to centre, hallmarked Patterson & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1912, length measures 4 2/8 inches (10.75 cm). Together with later example also having engraved initials to centre and with a lobed edge and suspension chain, G Loveridge & Co., Birmingham 1918, length measures 4 2/8 inches (10.75 cm). Gross weight 5.62 ozt (174.7 grams). (2).

Each displaying heavy wear and tarnishing throughout. Later example with damage to hinge and so cover is detached but present, and also with multiple small knocks and dents to case. Hallmarks throughout with rubbing but still clear and legible.
