A William IV silver table snuff box, the oblong form with hinged cover engraved with a hunting scene within engine-turned surround, further floral borders, and engine-turned decoration to the concave edge and base. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1831. Length measuring 3 ¼ inches (8 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (138 grams).

In good overall condition. The lot displays  general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hinge and clasp in good working order. Gilding to the interior still bright. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
