A George III silver vinaigrette, the octagonal sided form with engine-turned decoration throughout and opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior and a floral and foliate pierced grille having a decorative panel border. Hallmarked Thomas Phipps, Edward Robinson & James Phipps, London 1811. Measuring 3.5 cm by 2.5 cm, gross weight 21.6 grams.

The vinaigrette appears in good overall condition. Some general light wear, surface scratches and marks. Also some tarnishing. Some spots of discolouration and tarnishing to silver-gilt interior. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also part hallmarks to lid and grille.
