A William IV silver vinaigrette, formed as a book having a ribbed spine and initialled cartouche to the hinged cover opening to reveal the foliate pierced and silver-gilt grille. Hallmarked Taylor & Perry, Birmingham 1834. Length measures 3.5 cm, weight 13.9 grams.

Vinaigrette, with rubbing to exterior causing slight loss of definition to decoration, the hinge and grill are in good condition with light wear to interior gilding, the hallmarks are clear and legible.
