A 1930's novelty silver vesta case modelled as an open Gladstone style bag, striking edge to the underside. Hallmarked William Base & Sons, Birmingham 1930. Height measuring 5 cm, gross weight 175 grams.

The vesta appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, mark and tarnishing. Some heavier tarnishing and staining to the interior and it would benefit from a clean and polish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
