Lot Description
A pair of Edwardian silver tapersticks in Georgian style, each with shaped square base having a shell motif to each corner and rising to a knopped stem and removable nozzle with conforming shell decoration, filled. Hallmarked Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd., Sheffield 1902 and 1904. Height measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm).

Condition Report
Both tapersticks appear in a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. Also general wear, surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age and general use. Likely repair around the base of the stem on one the sticks and cracks around the seam line on the other stick. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear a little rubbed but are still legible. Corresponding part hallmarks to removable nozzles.
