A George III plain silver beaker, the cylindrical form with slightly flared rim and skirted base. Hallmarked London 1777, maker probably John Scofield. Height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 5.22 ozt (162.5 grams).

The beaker appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface marks and scratches. Also some tarnishing. Interior likely once gilded but this is now a little faded. Remnants of sticker marks around rim. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
