A 19th century French porcelain chocolate set
Probably Samson of Paris
Comprising six lidded cups each of pot-bedded cauldron form with single handle, the domed cover with moulded fruit finial, the body decorated in Chinese taste with perching birds in blue, green, yellow and iron red, iron red mark beneath, each 3.25”, (8.2cm) high, together with a matching oblong tray, 9.75” x 6.25”, (24.5cm x 16cm), (7).
