Lot Description
An open face pocket watch. 18ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Chester 1816. Signed E Massey's Patent key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with Liverpool windows train jewelling, Masey Type III lever escapement and diamond end stone. Gilt dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 52mm. 131gms.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have marks and scratches.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case middle/band appears to be a different shade of gold that the bezel and case back. Hinges have wear to the corners.
<li>Pendent shows marks, scratches and wear. Pin holding the bow to the pendent shows rust.
<li>Bow shows noticeable loss to the plating as well as marks and scratches.
