An open face pocket watch by Robert Black. 18ct yellow gold case, hallmarked London 1871. Numbered 53098. Signed three quarter plate key wind movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 47mm. 86gms. Together with a yellow metal Albert chain and a coin fob. 35cm

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Screw heads show signs of previous intervention.
<li>Dial shows chips to the corners at three and nine. Dial shows marks and scratches.
<li>Seconds hand is missing. Hands appear to have been repainted black. Hands show marks.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case shows wear. Case band has a dent between two and three. Hinges show wear to the corners.
<li>Pendent and bow show marks and light scratches. Bow shows wear.<p>
<li>Chain shows marks, light scratches and wear. Coin show tarnishing, scratches and wear.<p>
