A mid 19th century gold carved shell cameo. The oval-shape shell cameo carved to depict putti at play, with two putti pulling a third putto in a cart, to the intertwined textured leaf and floral bud surround. Length 7.8cms. Weight 23.3gms.

<li> Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.<p>
<li> The shell cameo has some very slight hairline cracks, which can only be seen with light shining through the shell. <p>
<li> The carving has some areas of slight abrasion to some raised surfaces. <p>
<li> Some recessed areas have ingrained dirt. <p>
