Lot Description
A late Victorian 9ct gold sapphire and split pearl bangle. Designed as a series of three circular-shape blue sapphires, with split pearl quatrefoils and similarly set scrolling terminals, to the openwork half bangle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1890. Inner diameter 5.6cms. Weight 9.4gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Dents and areas of discolouration to the bangle.
<li>The sapphires are fairly well matched, they appear a little hazy with visible angular colour zoning.
<li>Stones in fair condition, small chips and areas of abrasion to the facet edges visible with magnification.
<li>Split pearls vary in colour, some more grey and others more cream, blisters blemishes and chips to the nacre of some.
