Lot Description

A mid Victorian tortoiseshell heart padlock clasp and chain. The large belcher-link chain suspending a heart-shape padlock clasp with overlaid gold foliate detail and clasp. Length of chain 82cms, Length of padlock clasp 5cms.

Condition Report

Overall good condition. To one side of the padlock clasp there are two very small (no more than 4mm) natural surface reaching hairline cracks. The clasp is in working order. One of the chain links has a 1mm chip to the edge of it. This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
