Lot Description
LONGINES - a gentleman's Li wrist watch. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back. Numbered 20739953. Signed quartz calibre L270.2 with quick date set. Champagne dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 32mm. Together with a lady's gold plated Longines La Grande Classique bracelet watch.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning. A new battery was fitted. This may be indicative of the need for a service or symptomatic of something more serious.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Seal from case back is missing.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand appears to be depressed; it has been pushed down flat against the dial. This prevents it from passing the hour batons. This makes setting the hands impossible. This will require attention.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. There is heavy wear to the gold plating including a large chip missing from the side of the case.
<li>Crown is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Quick date set is functioning but you can not use the crown to adjust the hands. This is linked to the issue with the hands explained above.
<li>Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
<li>Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
<p>The other watch in this lot shows heavy wear to the gold plating, marks and scratches. It does not appear to be currently functioning.<p>
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
