ROLEX - a gentleman's "transitional" Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II bracelet watch. Circa 1985. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference 16550, serial 8866894. Signed automatic calibre 3085. Cream "rail" dial with luminous hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 39mm. Box and papers.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Small marks visible to luminous markers at six and seven although these are only visible under magnification.
<li>Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
<li>Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Some very small scratches present to the edge of the glass located at one and eleven, these are only visible with a high level of scrutiny under magnification. Some easily cleanable detritus around the cyclops.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
<li>Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links.
<li>Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks
<li>Bracelet measures approximately 20.5cm including case.<p>
<p>This lot comes with a box and papers to consist of a guarantee certificate dated 12.08.89.<p>
