Lot Description
A late 19th century silver and gold diamond floral clasp, on a cultured pearl two-row necklace. Comprising two graduated strands of forty-seven and fifty cultured pearls, measuring from 6.6 to 8.1mms, to the old-cut diamond floral clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 3.85cts, I-J colour, SI1-P2 clarity. Diameter of clasp 3.4cms. Length 40cms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Clasp is later converted from a brooch, screw fitting for detachable brooch fittings still visible.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Varied inclusions, some dark, some surface reaching.
<li>Cultured pearls are fairly well matched with a cream hue, good lustre, varied surface blemishes.
