An early Victorian gold coral figa clasp, circa 1840. The carved coral fist, with floral engraved sleeve, grasping a spiral grip. Length 3cms. Weight 2.8gms. Coral untested.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Slight discolouration at the top of the sleeve, possible section deficient.
<li>Coral untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Coral is a slightly mottled deep orange hue. Slight polyp marks. Fine crack at the grip.
