A late 19th century gold bow and arrow cloak fastener. Of tri-colour design, the quivers each engraved with a scrolling and foliate motif, to the series of fletchings and connecting trace-link chain with seed pearl highlights. AF. Length of chain 13cms. Length of terminals 3.4cms. Weight 9.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Chain is a replacement.
<li>Deficient a chain, original piece probably with two chains and no brooch fittings.
<li>Brooch fittings later addition.
<li>Some fletchings deficient from each quiver.
<li>Seed pearls approximately 3mms.
<li>Seed pearls with white body colour and fair lustre, some nacre damage.
