MURRLE BENNETT & CO. - an early 20th century 15ct gold turquoise necklace. The oval turquoise cabochon collet within an openwork surround, suspending a split pearl and pear-shape turquoise drop, to the openwork and similarly-set turquoise panels and replacement integral trace-link chain. Maker's marks for Murrle Bennett & Co. Length 44.5cms. Total weight 13.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Principal turquoise with a small indent to the side of the stone, in keeping with the granular nature of the stone.
<li>Turquoise blue and blueish-green, each with a visible matrix.
<li>Stamped 15ct.
