A late Victorian 15ct gold split pearl locket, circa 1880. Of oval outline, with split pearl raised Gothic script initial 'B', suspended from a tapered surmount loop. Length 6.4cms. Weight 29.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear, very minor dents and very slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Glass deficient to the interior, one side only with mount for photograph.
<li>Split pearls are well matched, few with slight wear to the outer nacre layers.
<li>Stamped 15ct to inside of surmount loop.
