An Egyptian amulet and early 20th century longuard chain. The Egyptian faience amulet, post 1st millennium BC, representing one of the four sons of Horus, suspended from an early 20th century gold rope-twist longuard chain with nine early 20th century scarab spacers each with pseudo hieroglyphs to reverse. Length of pendant 7cms. Length of chain 158cms. Total weight 36.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The pendant is a silica/quartz composite.
<li>Fine left to right hairline fracture (restored) visible on close inspection and located approximately 22mm up from base of the pendant.
